We process your files only to perform the task you requested.

• Retention: uploads expire 2.0 hours after their last keep-alive; an open tool page sends keep-alives while your files are in use. Results expire 2.0 hours after processing completes. Expired files are unavailable immediately when requested and are removed by periodic cleanup. You can delete a result immediately from its result screen.
• Access: file IDs, task IDs and signed download links grant access to the corresponding files. Anyone with a task ID or result link can retrieve the result until it expires. Keep them private.
• No account needed: we don't ask for your name or e-mail to use the tools.
• Device storage: your browser may store your theme, recent result links, saved workflows, signatures, and unsaved editor drafts containing text, images and form values. Drafts are offered for recovery for up to 48 hours; expired drafts are removed when the editor opens. Signatures and workflows remain until removed or you clear this site's browser storage. Workflow passwords are requested again when needed instead of being saved.
• Fonts: optional web fonts load from Google Fonts. PDF previews and processing do not send your documents to that service. Default fonts work when web fonts are unavailable.
• Passwords: if you unlock a protected PDF, the password is kept with the file only until it is deleted and is used only to open it.
